For your door check to make sure the doors are shutting tightly where the door latches it can be adjusted to have your door seal better. 3) If you have a chimney make sure you have it cleaned. you can have a build up of creosote in the chimney which can catch on fire and you could have a chimney fire. If you have a vent pipe for your boiler instead of chimney make sure it clear of debris. 4) Winterize an lawn mowers, weed wakers, and blowers by filling up the fuel in the tanks and adding stabil to them it will make your life easier in the spring when you need them and will help the longevity of the equipment. 5) Make sure you turn off all water feeds to the outside faucets and open the faucet to drain any remaining water in the line. If you leave the water on to outside faucet you risk the chance of the pipe freezing and potential brusting. These five item can help you save money and help you make it through the winter.
